Terms of use

Draft, not yet in force

Draft

This is draft text waiting for approval and legal review before Twofold launches. It isn't in force yet. Anything marked to confirm still needs a fact checked.

The basics

These terms are between you and LogicLeap Ltd, to confirm. By creating an account you agree to them. You must be 18 or over, and each account is for one person on their own devices.

Playing as a pair

  • Twofold is played by two people in a pair. Nothing in the app opens until your partner accepts your invite.
  • You can be in one pair at a time. Either of you can unpair at any time from Settings.
  • An invite link and code work once, for 7 days.

Free and the Duo Pass

  • The Daily Duo games are free for good. The Duo Pass unlocks every game and deck, the Memory Book and Our Place, for both of you.
  • Prices: £5.99 a month, £44.99 a year, or £79 once for Founders (the first 500 couples only). Prices include VAT VAT treatment to confirm.
  • Monthly and yearly plans start with a 7-day free trial. A card is taken up front, we remind you before the trial ends, and then the plan you picked begins. One trial per person, ever.
  • The Duo Pass belongs to whoever pays. It covers their pair, stays with them if they unpair, and covers their next pair.
  • You can cancel, switch plan or update your card at any time from Settings, through Stripe's billing portal. Cancelling stops renewal; you keep access until the paid period ends.
  • Your statutory rights to cancel and to refunds are not affected cancellation wording to confirm.

Being kind

Don't use Twofold to harass, monitor or control anyone, to share anything illegal, or to try to break or overload the service. We may suspend an account that does.

What you make

You own your notes, drawings, photos and answers. You give us permission to store them and show them to you and your partner so the service works. Delete them at any time.

Changes and our responsibility

We may change Twofold and these terms, and we'll tell you before a change affects you. We're not liable for losses we couldn't reasonably foresee; nothing here limits liability that can't be limited by law. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales.
